Come down to the gorgeous Surfcoast for a summer skeptical event hosted by the Great Ocean Road Skeptics, with generous support from the Token Skeptic podcast and blog.
SSS will be held on Saturday 21st January 2012 at the Airey's Inlet Community Centre starting at 10am. We have chosen the location and timings of the event to allow for participants to make a weekend of it on the Great Ocean Road. We will have a mix of grassroots speaker (ie YOU!) and some better-known skeptics as attendees. The speaker signups have begun, and can be organized by emailing Carolyn Coulson on carolco@barwonhealth.org.au . We will be providing a BBQ lunch with vegetarian options, and a paranormal winetasting at the conclusion of the day. There is ample free parking outside the Community Centre, and we will have plenty of available power points inside for mobile devices. We are planning to video as many presentations as we can to make them available via youtube afterwards.
